The story of Poolside
Added 2023-05-04 08:00:02 +0000 UTCI honestly can't remember how I came into contact with Phoenix. He's a guy that I think I'd seen on the socials through people I know. He is a thoroughly sweet guy which is always a pleasant surprise. Maybe I'm cynical and jaded but when someone is connected to the gay scene, even just vaguely I think we are conditioned to believe they are going to be shallow and arrogant.
Thankfully in all my dealings with beautiful men in the gay scene world, or perceived to be, the vast majority of them have been wonderful.
For this shoot, we borrowed a friend's backyard pool. It's not a big pool and access around it was a little tricky to manoeuvre but we definitely managed. Phoenix has a stunning body. BROAD shoulders tapering down in a V to narrow hips. He has long beautiful limbs. While he didn't want to include full frontals in the download, he was very comfortable in his skin walking around on the day of the shoot. Fun fact of this shoot, Phoenix used lube as a body-oil/moisturiser for a bit of sheen on his skin. In a couple of the shots you can see the bottle in the background.
I really like it when a model embraces their imperfections too. Phoenix has psoriasis in small patches mostly on his back. He specifically asked me not to retouch them as they were part of who he is. I couldn't agree more.
