It's a strange thing

The idea of video art is an appealing one, but at the same time I'm really not sure. Photography is definitely where my heart lies and video would only ever be a documentation of my photography or a side-piece to my photography. A beautiful video can be completely mesmerising, but more often than not, it's just not.

Every artist has to stay true to themselves. I see a lot of work presented as art, especially in the realm of nudes, and to me it seems like exhibitionism dressed in poor art cosplay. All art is totally subjective and I'm sure there is a market for all of it.

David C Collins in the video above may look familiar to you, my followers as he is the star of a few of my downloads. When modelling he goes by the name Charlie D. As you can see though, even in his own art, he is not shy. While I may not understand all his work I do find it quite beautiful.

David has a lot of experiences with horses a lot in his life and his art and this video is a beautiful exploration of the trust and bond between man and beast.
