The story of Andrew
Added 2022-10-20 09:00:03 +0000 UTCMy first ever male nude model, Erik put me in touch with Andrew. Andrew is one of his mates who loves challenging himself and stepping outside his comfort zone and posing nude is something he'd never done and decided fit with his ethos of challenging himself.
Andrew is one of the limited number of straight men that I've photographed over the years but he had no qualms getting nude and surprised me with how at ease he was posing full frontal.
We started with some simple nudes before we started spritzing him with water for a bit of a different vibe. As you can see in the main image of this post, it looked really good on his olive skin. You can also see that Andrew is blessed with stunning light coloured eyes, in contrast to his dark hair.
Later in the shoot we experimented with some very lightweight fabric that was wet and draped over him. I'm still not sure how much I like the photos with him covered in the fabric. It feels a little like a body bag or plastic wrapped meat but it was a fun experiment.
Right at the end of the shoot we did some shots with The Chair which was a side project that stalled but has since become a download already featured on here.
All in all I like these images and if Andrew decided he wanted to do another shoot, he'd be very welcome.
