The story of Matteo...

Last month I shared a post offering left over framed prints from my exhibitions at a discount to you, my patrons. Yesterday one of my followers who already owns some limited edition prints of mine bought "Matteo Bridge", the first image in this post. It got me thinking about the shoot.

It was back in 2012 that we did this shoot. Matteo had been in my first exhibition the year before and agreed to do another shoot. So we headed off to the Royal National Park and maybe it was naivety, or just dumb luck but somehow we didn't get caught doing these shoots.

For reference this location is the start of a few walks, the bridge provides access to parking for a cafe that is 50 metres away and there are ALWAYS people there. Somehow my idea came to fruition and we got away with it.

After we did the shots of Matteo walking across the bridge and posing under the bridge, we had to wait for the boat hire place to open then paddle far enough upstream to get away from crowds. There is a road fairly close by that lots of cyclists and cars go along so I'm gobsmacked no one saw us or if they did, they didn't let on.

My poor models have put up with some strange requests over the years and I have more ideas to explore yet.
