After my first collaboration with Jorge I knew I wanted to work with him again. Firstly because he's just a great guy. He's funny, charming, cheeky, hot, intelligent and open to creative ideas. In short, just fantastic to work with.
Now that I'd worked with him before and knew just how sculpted his body was, it inspired the concept of turning him into a statue that is coming to life. Painting him in the clay gave him that sculptural vibe while not completely covering him and making him look silly. We also chose fairly static poses that aren't unlike those of classical sculptures.
Please remember this was before I was shooting to release the shoots as downloads so I wasn't aiming to get as much content from each shoot as I do now. So we started the shoot with the shots in "The Chair" which is a download on it's own you can find in the archives on here. Then we did got Jorge painted up in the clay. Once we had the clay shots done to my satisfaction, I had the idea to add some teal blue body paint to the look. To this day I'm not sure where that came from but I stand by it and think it adds a moody twist to the look.
At this point I was working for a company that had a beautiful big studio that I still miss to this day. The one drawback was the lack of showers. Thankfully there was rarely anyone in the building on the weekends when I was doing the shoots so the models, whenever I painted them, would wrap in a towel and go to the disabled/accessible toilets and clean up in there.

There were only four votes to decide for this post and it was a tie between Living Statue and Woodland so I'll cover Woodland next week.
