The straight boys
Added 2022-03-22 07:30:01 +0000 UTCObviously being a gay man a lot of my friends are also gay men. Given the content of my photography most of my following is also gay men. It stands to reason that the vast majority of the men that I have photographed are gay.
There have been some straight men who have modelled for me and done a beautiful job, all of the gentlemen above in fact are straight. All stunning and great to work with. When I photographed Leigh recently (the man draped in the foyer next to the stairwell) it occurred to me that I really need to work with more straight men. There is a more straight forward approach when you work with a gay man. It's hard to explain but there is absolutely no confusion about what we are there for.
Thankfully the woman who lent us that house with the stairwell manages a team of straight male escorts and she is going to spread the word that they are welcome to do shoots if they want. After all, my shoots are a safe space and they will end up with some great photos. Let's see who gets in touch.
