Added 2021-10-14 08:47:22 +0000 UTCIt sounds cheesy but I often feel very grateful to my models who are often putting themselves in very vulnerable positions for my photography. While photography makes me a bit of money these day provides a little bit of income these days, I can't afford to pay my models. In return for their time and effort I give them a copy of all the edited images to use how they choose.
All photographers have different ways of working. I know a Sydney photographer who gives the model one free retouched image and charges a fairly solid fee for every image after that. That's entirely his choice and photography is his full time career so he has to make money how he sees fit.
In two weeks time I'm picking up the camera for the first time since May and collaborating with the very sexy Gabe Woods who conveniently has moved into a place very close to me. Not only do I get to shoot my first content in 5 months but he gets some fresh content for his channel.
Some photographers might take issue with models using their work on a platform like Onlyfans but while I don't want a page on there myself, I have no drama with him using the images there. He would hardly be the first of my models to do that.
Onlyfans and other platforms have changed the game I believe in what "regular" guys are willing to show in a photo shoot. It's become so common for people to take nude selfies, send nudes to each other and even monetise it if they choose that more and more guys are willing to bare all and that is something I won't be complaining about.
