I thought for tonight's post I would go a long way back into the vault and bring you these shots of Kerry. This was the second shoot I ever did, back in 2004. Previously I think I'd said that Andy was my second model but that was apparently not the truth.
It escapes my memory where Kerry came to my attention but it was likely to be Gaydar back in 2004. As you can see he has a spectacular body and thinking back now he was someone that rode a bike everywhere, hence the great legs and butt.
It's amazing looking this far back and realising just how much I didn't know. This shoot was done in the days before digital but at the stage they could scan your negatives for you and give you digital copies of dubious quality. Looking at these images tonight I realise that in those days, I didn't have the confidence to tell a model to move or to say something wasn't working because of the light. These days we would halt the shoot and find a way to make the most of the light rather than take a shot with bad lighting.
It stuns me to this day that the guys in my early days of photography took a chance on me. They had no idea if I knew what I was doing at all. I'm not entirely sure I did.
