Timed to coincide with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival in 2013 I held my second solo gallery exhibition. In complete contrast to the dark, moody, black & white studio shoots of my first exhibition Shrouded, Freedom was a joyous, colourful exploration of nudity in nature.
My mood and attitude was more positive during the shoots for this exhibition and that is reflected in the imagery. It's no secret to anyone in my life or who follows my Instagram that naked in nature is a direct way for me to be happy. Sunshine on my skin recharges me and being in or near water calms me down.
This series included one first-time model doing yoga nude on the cliffs at North Bondi at dawn, three friends who hadn't been nude together before in a waterhole and a lot of other scenarios. Enjoy this full download including the images from the exhibition as well as others from the shoots that didn't make the final cut.
