Something has been ticking away in my mind for a while now but I wasn't sure how to do it. Recently I've been giving some thought to the idea of running the occasional workshop in male nude studio photography where attendants would get to come along and learn about studio lighting, photography and camera settings, lenses as well as the creative process. That would be the first half of the day.

The second half of the day would be actually setting up the studio and lighting and then each of the attendants getting a short period of time each to work with a live model, working on how to give direction, seeing what they can come up with. Then at the end of the day we'd run through some editing tips for a short amount of time.

I have recently discovered a studio that has affordable rates for hiring for a full day and use of all the equipment. If I limit class size to 6-8 and supplied a simple lunch, drinks and snacks for the day, does that sound appealing? To cover costs and my time the price would need to be a minimum of $250 but there are half day workshops going for a lot more.
