Tribe - Download
Added 2021-03-21 01:44:17 +0000 UTCIn 2015 I launched my third solo series "Tribe" but instead of a gallery exhibition I decided to do it a bit differently and I premiered the images on twitter. Was it an outrageous success? No, but by doing it this way it didn't cost me anything. Gallery shows are costly and a lot of effort but I will do another one one day.
This download features all the images that were released in that series plush some extras that didn't make the cut for the initial release. As you can see from the title and in the imagery I was inspired by tribal references but I was very careful not to specifically mimic any tribes or cultures.
Over the course of the shoots there was lots of body paint, some fake fur, some sticks and all sorts of things used. It was a lot of fun to create the props and see what I could come up with working in collaboration with the models. You'll recognise some models I've shot before, sadly some I haven't had a chance to work with again and the cover boy Fabien who sadly passed away shortly after our shoot.
