Blue - Download
Added 2021-02-21 03:10:34 +0000 UTCBlue, a colour that describes a negative mood but for me is also one of the most relaxing and beautiful colours. It is definitely the first version that we captured here in this shoot. A dark studio with my model Clinton dusted in a vivid blue powder. A vivid blue might seem like a happy colour and it might be in other circumstances but perhaps in this series it might represent a more vivid and visceral version of depression?
After shooting Clinton with the powder on for a while we added some baby oil which added a very interesting dynamic to the colour. To me it really added to the moody nature of the shoot.
Of course when a model is all oily and slippery some times that adds to other moods as well which we captured some of in this series too.
