My road to photography started with my father giving me a camera and teaching me the basics. From there our photography paths diverged. While my father photographs landscapes, rugby matches for his local team and other bits and pieces, I have always been drawn to photographing people.
Yes, as a gay man and a person who has grown up in sporting environments, it's no surprise that I am drawn to the athletic bodies and the beautiful end of the male spectrum but it's always been about people for me. When I look at a beautiful landscape in terms of a photograph I'm daunted by the task of capturing the majesty of nature alone and my mind always jumps to where I would put a naked man or group of men and who would they be?
Sometimes though it's all about the face, the twinkle in the eye, the jawline and whether I can do them justice. A beautiful portrait is very tough to capture but a joy when it works. I know most of you follow me for the lusty body images but I will always be shooting a variety of images.
