Wrestle Me - Download
Added 2020-11-29 00:20:04 +0000 UTCI've posted about the backstory to this shoot a while ago but now I'm sharing the full download with you all. This is a real life couple who approached me and offered to get in front of my camera.
Back in 2009 I had only been doing photography of male nudes for a few years and didn’t have a huge portfolio to show, so I was always grateful when people agreed to model for me.
With a small portfolio and not much of a reputation or following, I was surprised to receive an email from two guys who are now friends and have even appeared in my Freedom Exhibition (2013).
Early one morning we headed to Kurnell to shoot in the sand dunes with the boys having mentioned they would love to do some shots wrestling. Well when we got to the dunes they were full of personal training groups and football teams all running everywhere. But we found a more secluded spot and the guys got naked and did their thing.
These shots are quite different to anything I’ve done lately but it was fun revisiting them.
