Behind the Lost Pirates

This is the behind the scenes video for the Lost Pirates shoot that I recently released as a download. There is always a danger working with new models because you don't know what they are like to work with. There is added danger when you pair up two models who don't know each other. David and Adam had never met and before this shoot I hadn't physically met either of them either so there were a lot of unknowns.

Thankfully they were both great to work with. Adam has a slightly chaotic energy about him in a really fun way. There were times I had to tell him to stop chatting and laughing so I could get the shot but that kind of fun energy is great on a shoot.

David has gone on to model for me another three times I think and we are trying to get our schedules to align so that he can do a shoot for my "In My Bed" series.

This shoot was nearly four years ago and even though it was shot in Summer, the weather on the morning of the shoot wasn't particularly summery but the slightly wild weather added to the shipwrecked, lost pirate vibe but not so gloomy we lost the playfulness.

I have to thank my friend Tim who has come to help film several of my shoots. Without an extra person there to film it is very difficult to capture what goes on.
