Behind the Beef

These days a lot of my photo shoots are coordinated through Instagram which gives photographers access to a huge number of models who aren't on model/photographer networking websites. Plus you can see a range of photos of them before you message them.
Jorge was one of those beautiful guys that I'd never met before we did the shoot. A simple beach shoot was the order of the day and despite not being able to swim, Jorge even happily went in the water. I promise we didn't let him go out too deep.
When you have such a gorgeous model with such a beautiful body keeping it simple is the only way to go. So after a light coating of baby oil to add a very slight sheen to his tanned skin. This also gave the sand something to cling to which I wanted. I have spent a lot of my life on beaches over the years and have always liked the look of sand clinging to a sexy tanned body. None of us ever just roll or lie in the sand when we go to the beach but in photos it suggests complete freedom and abandonment, not worrying about being dirty and that's the kind of freedom I love to show in my outdoor nude photography.
