September update: delays, frustrations and the future

TL;DR: Some awful family issues are bringing delays and slowing down my progress on art. I'm really sorry about this, but luckily I'm taking measures to get back on track!

Hi everyone, I'm sure you've noticed that I'm currently a bit late with all my usual Patreon deadlines, and I really apologize for that. I just managed to finish last month's YCH, and still have to work on August's YCHs. Commissions also have received a huge delay, and this month I might not be able to draw as many personal projects for Patreon as I do usually.

The reason for all of this slowness is that I've had to deal with some family issues with my relatives all the way across the ocean in my home country. While I'd like to remain a bit vague on the specifics, these problems have been painful and exhausting since they involve my gender identity and the end-of-life care of some of the folks I care the most about in the world.

These issues have left me with so little time and energy to dedicate to work and drawing, and for this I ask for your patience and kindness. I know it's frustrating, especially for new patrons who subscribed this month, to wait for the art you're owed, but I promise I'm doing my very best to draw whenever I can and that I'll catch back on the lost progress whenever I'm able to!

Right now, I've kind of revolutionized my schedule, hoping to use the time difference with my home country to my advantage, and to get some work done while my relatives are sleeping. It's a bit weird for me, but my hope is that once I get adjusted to it, I'll be able to be a lot more productive! Art is my comfort and joy and I think it will be therapeutic for me to dedicate myself to it and forget all of these things for a few hours every day.

Thank you for listening, for your support, and the warmth you bring with all your comments (even if I haven't been able to reply lately, I always read them!!). I'll get back to more horny and less bleak content soon, but I thought it was fair for me to share what was going on behind the scenes.
