Commission WiP shots - 06/26/22
Added 2022-06-27 00:59:21 +0000 UTCI took some unusual decisions with the coloring on these pieces, and I'm happy with how they turned out!
Both in the portrait for the refhseet, and in the illustration, I tried to shade and light the figure and the background in two different way: one with warm colors, and the other with cooler tones. I also attempted to make the figures a lot lighter than they would be in the lighting conditions of the scene.
I think the result is kinda cute! Even if it's not exactly "technically correct", I feel like it helps to make the characters pop out more, and it gives the whole scene a more lighthearted mood. I'll try to use this technique in the future too! :)
