Spooky month suggestions?

I'd really love to celebrate it properly this year and I already have a couple of fun pictures planned, but do you have any period appropriate ideas that you'd like to see with my characters, or any spooky characters that you'd like me to do some fanart of?
If so, leave them in the comments here! Even if I can't realistically make tons of full illustrations this month, I'm still planning of choosing a bunch of ideas as Patreon exclusive sketches! It is supposed to be Inktober as well, after all :)
