Kit redesign

I've been working on a redesign of this old character of mine, Kit. He's one of Percy's oldest friends, a constantly exhausted and horny Lynx who's just trying to vibe through life. As you can see from the sketches compared to the previous illustrations he was in (both from a couple years ago now!), I'm planning on changing his body shape to a more pear-shaped one, as well as tweak the colors a little. I'm experimenting a little with making his proportions a little more exaggerated and cartoony as well.
What do you think? I'm a little stuck and find it hard to decide what to do from here on. Do you like any of the versions more? Is there anything that you think I should add, or would look good on him?

He's beautiful! I believe I prefer the coloring of the third version but the body markings of the first. Maybe a mix of the first and third version's markings would be good?

2021-05-09 22:53:42 +0000 UTCHe's a cutie! Color wise the first and third ones are my favorite. The pear shape proportions would work great could even use it attempt to play with the hyper elements you were asking about ^^
