John Spaceman calls you

There's over a thousand people who listen to this. That blows my mind.

Hey Tex. Save voice as needed If you think your fans wouldn’t want to watch a six hour Tex talks Battletech, you sir have seriously underestimated us. (Laugh track). All kidding aside I understand wanting to trim things down and keep it a certain length. Lord knows even with the advancement of technology staring endlessly at a computer screen, editing for hours on end is maddening. I’ve said it in the past but hats off to those guys because I know that feeling. Used to be in my highschool media club and I know what a pain in the ass it is just to put together a ten minute video, let alone a monster sized one. I hear ya when it comes to inflation. Even the local greasy spoon I frequent has turned a $10 fish Friday deal into a $20 deal. Gas is double, groceries are double, even buying a box of .22 for plinking with the kids means sacrificing something else. (Remember when they were so cheap you could walk out of the store with 1,000 round for $10. Boy I miss those days). If you have to take more time due to budget constraints by all means. Just don’t work yourself to death is all. You guys can only do so much with such a crunch. Huge fan of the Highlander. Like a Victor but better in every conceivable way so I’m looking forward to that one. Never piloted one before but sounds like years of playing Mario would come in handy (rim shot). Looking forward to hearing about a certain Scottish group lead by a certain Germanic legend who actually caused Amaris to shit his pants in fear of her sheer stubbornness and insanity. question: In Battletech is the concept of “militia” the same as pre Dick Act americas concept or is it more along the lines of feudal era militias where it’s just a bunch of guys handed a weapon and told to go die for the king/whatever title the ruler is going by? I know it’s kind of a broad question since each house has a different set of governments. I guess I’m looking for the general idea. Are they nobodies or just pilots who are “voluntold” to serve. I read somewhere that the Marik militia are basically the rank and file guys that were good enough to pilot but not good enough for elite units and way too good to just relegate to a desk while places like Davion it’s closer to the old American system where it’s a frontier force meant as a last resort if the military fails or can’t be present at the time of an attack but I can’t be certain of the source. I appreciate it. Keep up the good work and don’t forget to take those occasional breathers.

G'day Mr. Tex, It would be epic and fitting for the intro to the Highlander to be a rendition of your theme played by a Bagpipe and Drum to really set the mood. Whatcha think?
