Now Mr. Joseph Kucan aka Kane was one of the main reason I played the later Command and Conquer games. I always loved the intra mission actor scenes and with actors like Micheal Ironside and Tim Curry in various games in the series he still stood out and I’m truly excited to hear him and you shit post together! Ok hear me out….i’m wondering if we could do a separate fund to do something that I think you’d be stupidly hilariously brilliant! Audio only Kane doing a C and C world pre and post mission scene but with our favorite creators of chaos Delta Shift!!! Except they do talking reports unlike the game. So something like them being sent to do a 1st mission game level like secure a building and will a new large crater for miles exist. I so want to hear Ricky word Fu what happened and Kane even felling “Shit that was a bit over the top even for me” that was my honest first thought as you said the secret! I congratulate you with all you are putting together! Stay safe and just Damn thank you!

I'm not super familiar with the material, but from what I'm gathering, it's sure to be a treat. As for a question, just curious. I vaguely recall a previous podcast episode where you expressed to a degree, disinterest/indifference to the Gundam franchise. That being said, I'm curious about your thoughts on other iterations of mechs in pop culture. Stuff like Titans in Titanfall, VTs in Steel Battlalion, Armored Cores, Veritech Fighters and others. Wondering if there are other mechs outside of Battletech that you at the very least find neat. Can't wait for what's next, cheers.

With the recent talk of "what I would do with a bajillion dollars" I wanted to share an option. Over by my neck of the woods in the PNW, just east of Moses Lake, Wa, is a decommissioned titan 1 nuclear missile silo for sale. You can see pictures of it at "themissilebase.com". There is also a 4 part video tour on the YouTube channel "ehren Hotchkiss" if you want to see more. Could be a good candidate for a new Black pants legion HQ. There are 3 silos so you, Goat, and Mike could each have one, then meet in the command center in the middle for some awesome collabs. You'd also probably be safe from Mr. Train. A bit of a fixer upper but we know you're used to that ;) Have a magical day sir.

2025-02-27 19:56:14 +0000 UTCHey there Tex. As per usual, save voice as necessary. It sucks that UAD messed your sPAIN playthrough, but looking forward for the re-vengence stuff! Also, damn... that's a pretty juicy secret! I've been recently playing Cyberpunk 2077, and the more I play it, the more it feels that, while a decent game, they went a bit lazy on several aspects of it. Older games, like Saints Row 2 and 3 had far more customization looks wise, not to mention in regards to your vehicles (after all, Saints Row 3 even had flying bikes and jet planes). Fallout from 1 to New Vegas had a lot more options on how to actual roleplay your character, from the suave smooth talker, to the crazed gunslinger and the kind, but strong handed, simpleton. Even the gun selection seems... limited on that game. Elysium (the movie) was cyberpunk but you still had weapons from past eras, not just new tech stuff. As you said, a .45 is a .45, it might not be fancy, but still does damage. Plus the fact that the game apparently is not very easy to mod (to the point where even radio stations can't be customized or created like in GTA, for example), makes it feel that a lot of corners were cut with that game. In any case, wanted to ask you if you are familiar with a small comic called "Glimmer Rats". Think it was first published on the 2000 AD comics. Won't spoil it for ya, but if you enjoy "realistic" grimdark with a dash of Vietnam conflict style combat and big burly guys and even bigger guns, give it a go. Think you can find it online, so should be easy enough to find. Anyways, keep up the awesome work. Your videos, as well as the rest of the BPL peeps and the Flush have helped me through some rough times, including going through a relatively long bout with unemployment which, finally, seems to be coming to an end (have a job interview next Tuesday). So I'm going to be running a Traveller 2e from mongoose game (system really) sometime this year all taking place in a homebrewed world that is a continuation of previous campaigns, but now in the far future with space travel (previous system was DnD 5e). Only problem I have is transitioning the DnD races over to Traveller. I haven't really found a good source on how to adjust for that. Ideas? Thoughts? Wanna join?

Though I'll probably figure it out when the other questions get read out. Been thinking about the axe-wielding mechs. Is that on the radar of things to come ? The next BT scenario is Twycross, the revenge part. Nicolai Malthus has been sent to a Garrison Cluster and is seething. The Troubleshooters are guarding the Great Gash, but get called away to once more beat the living crap out of Nicolai before he buggers off to find the Somerset Strikers and finish that arc. They should be back in time to witness Kai and Deirdre turning his mech into an overwhelming amount of heat and light and bury the Falcon Guards. At the end of that they get to pull back to Arc Royal for refits and look back on their career so far. - Rediscover a lost Star League dropship - Avoid a Marik civil war on Bedeque - Raid Agematsu disguised as the Shin Legion and take out a full battalion of the Ryuken Ni - Carve a Canyon of Death through House Hiritsu on Ambergrist - Try to rob the Data recorder of Grey Noton's Rifleman on Solaris - Beat one of the top FedCom teams on Solaris - Get captured by the ISF for Agamatsu ending up on Turtle Bay. - Meet Hohiro Kurita, get the Yakuza get out of Jail card, and witness the fireworks of Edo City. - Make it back just in time to be sent to Twycross and get their scout lance smoked by the Jade Falcons. - Manage to punch the Falcon Guards in the nose. Meet Adam Steiner and the Somerset Strikers and steal a bunch of Clan data, mechs and elementals, Beating Nicolai Malthus in the process - Have a nice proper trial of possession with Kirsten Redmond. - Do the Twycross comeback rematch, beat up Nicolai again and watch the Kai Allard fireworks. So after that, it's the year of peace between Twycross and Tukayyid. If you have any suggestions about what they could do in that period, let me know. As for the future, the options are : Outreach, Funtime with the Snords in the Dark Nebula, Luthien, Red Corsair (?), I put the seeds to do the Unbound scenario in the Ambergrist campaign.

They are very well made, [Retro Studios Texas] long, and have a better alien atmosphere, then all new alien films that have come out. ;P Finishing the series with Metroid Other:M, completed yesterday in fact. Despite all the fan base warnings and notable poor reception, I chose to play it. I got so angry at the character assassination I became audibly irate today, takes a lot to get me going. lol Good times! Have you ever had a chance to play any of the Metroid games? One other great decision I have made is to start watching Babylon 5. I used to play Lego's with my Brother where we'd build Babylon 5 ships. I had no idea what things really where, or who was who? [Brothers 5 years older] How did we do decide winners back then, eh? B5 is such an incredible special gift to us nerds. The Cast, the aliens, the ship effects, which still hold up. The story lines and the overall arc that makes it a fantastic TV novel. A little bit of sad news I learned was concerning the sudden switch of Captains from Sinclair to Sheridan. No spoilers here. Michael O'Hare was an awesome Captain, powerful and his opening for B5 will always be my favorite. "All alone, in the night..." I prefer to research the series I watch afterwards, or follow along per episode. So I stumbled upon the information by happen stance, it was also hidden from the fandom by Mr.Straczynski, for many years by request. It's shocking how many cast members of B5 are gone. It's newer than TNG. *You don't have to read this part aloud* Michael O'Hare and my own Father suffered the same illness. B5 was one my Dad's favorite SciFi TV shows, alongside StarTrek TOS. One of the last communications with him was about his VHS of Babylon 5! I find it so strangely coincidental, and at the same time eye opening. Yeah, mental health really wasn't talked about back then. It was stigmatized, put behind the stairs. Maybe someday, we'll find a cure for afflictions of the mind. Hopefully before we hack it. **PS: Try a netty pot for your sinuses, you likely got lots of debris.

So my question is: is there any class of cruiser in history that stands out to you as superlatively effective or interesting? (Asking for a "favorite" or "best" cruiser seems too subjective but if there's any that come to mind feel free to go that route).

Then I get to experience a second wave of “that’s cool” when I’m reminded of it. No serious questions, only a whimsical one: I’ve made a habit of making cursed mech conversions such as a Madcat with the missile pods and guns swapped as well as a Catapult with marauder arms slapped onto it (it works, somehow). What cursed/shitpost conversion or loadout can you think of, especially if it makes Clanners mad?
