I still think it's cool though and I'm happy to be sharing it with you guys now! This song is from my Autumn album and was always one of my faves for all the weird vocal and violin harmonies. :)

I'm going to have fun trying to figure it out! I think the way the lyrics looked on the page just reminded me of a poem is the style of Tennyson. The first thing I thought of was the Charge of the Light Brigade. I think it was this bit that made me think it could have been an anagram, "all slip through a fist fruitful list grew" It wasn't until I realised there's no G in the first line that I started thinking along other lines.

It feels like you've made them anagrams, or palindromes, or SOMETHING, but when I think I've figured it out, I take a second look and I'm wrong. I've looked at the lyrics as a poem by themselves rather than song lyrics, and I still can't figure it out. You don't understand, though. I'm an English teacher. It shouldn't be annoying me this much. GAH.
