K&D Goal's Gone
Added 2017-04-03 19:08:00 +0000 UTCHi! I hate moving goalposts (and I really hate removing them entirely), but I've had to ditch the goal that said I'd update K&D twice a week if we hit it. We were still pretty far from it anyway so I hope it doesn't feel like I was sweeping the rug out there, and if you were only here to support that goal I want you to know your support still helps me make the comic, but I totally understand if you remove support from now on.
The reasons were: I didn't want to be forced to work on the comic and have to start producing it in a lower quality. I feel like it'd make the comic become clinical and lose its charm. Also, this patreon seemingly leans heavily towards individual rewards rather than global goals, and if that's how it's going then I want to focus on that more!
With that goal removed, here's how my focus is gonna go:
1. More tangible individual rewards, mainly in the form of beefing up the Mail Order Cuties tier and adding some more options in that regard.
2. Kent and Daniel will get a bonus update on certain weeks when I feel I can work on it more and push it out. It's not as good as having twice weekly updates, but it means some weeks you will get multiple updates regardless of if there was a goal or not.
Figuring out this patreon is a bit of a trial and error, and I'm so grateful for the support so far. I hope you all stick around.
