August Video Q&A - Submit Questions Here!
Added 2020-08-02 21:03:37 +0000 UTCI hope you all are enjoying the return of baseball. This is where I'll be collecting questions for the August edition of the Video Q&A. Feel free to ask about myself, Youtube, or baseball. I will return with answers in the middle of the month.
I really appreciate y'all sticking with me through some difficult times. MLB is back, but it seems to be in a perilous state. I don't know what happens next, but at least we got something.

2020-08-06 23:30:09 +0000 UTCThis is gonna sound like I want to push you to my side of it but I'll write it as non biased as I can Do you think that with modern shifts, and defensive positioning that 1st Base should still be treated as it has been historically (like the easiest position, and or the one where you put the big fat guy who hits the ball out of the ballpark all the time) , both in public perception, and things like positional adjustment?

2020-08-05 01:23:41 +0000 UTCHow come everyone laughed at me before the season when I said that the dodgers would have a perfect 60-0 season when we see MLB's Jeff Passan never taking an L ? Thanks, Emilo

2020-08-03 22:48:47 +0000 UTCFirstly, congrats on getting Larry Walker into the Hall of Fame. I know you'll try to dismiss that, but I genuinely think without the impact that your video, and subsequent mini-campaign, had on the baseball internet discourse, he would've ended up a few votes shy. Building on that, are there any other players, either currently on the ballot or due in the next few years, that you can see being unfairly overlooked by the writers? Personally I'd go for Billy Wagner - he beats Trevor Hoffman in pretty much every category aside from saves, but no-one's trying to name an award after him and he's stuck on 30% in the voting. Thanks for all the great work you do!

2020-08-03 14:01:15 +0000 UTCIs there a stat that best captures how "exciting" a player is? Something like combining hitting (but not "boring" things like walks) and excellent defense?

2020-08-03 05:02:28 +0000 UTCNotes on 1 and 3: 1: If there's any I miss and you would rather use, go for that one instead. 3: Intangibles in quotation marks. What I mean is something that has always been said that can't be measured... UNTIL NOW!

2020-08-03 04:40:55 +0000 UTCMaybe he goes in the all-name team (the idea from one other question around here), after all, his initials are BAT.

2020-08-03 04:38:39 +0000 UTCHey B, love your work. Three questions: 1: What type of fictional (or adapted) baseball executive would you be most like in terms of goofy personalities? Rachel Phelps from Major League, George Steinbrenner from Seinfeld, or Billy Beane in Moneyball? 2: What's your favorite baseball situational?: My favorite (and the one I will use as an example) is top of the 7th with one out and the bases loaded and the home team is leading by 1 run. The reason is that in Tango's Book, it was a situational which yielded a 50.000% win percentage for both teams, so it's a brand new ball game from there. 3. With baseball becoming more and more measured each day, what intangible attribute would you like to join the stat party?

2020-08-03 04:36:55 +0000 UTCIf you could go back in time to watch any game in MLB history, what would it be and why?

2020-08-03 03:45:19 +0000 UTCWhen are you doing a video on Beckham Trout? His star power is simply too big for you to continue to ignore. If there was a "Worst Player in History" exhibit at the Hall of Fame like in Futurama, who would you put there?
