I'm Max, your friendly, slightly bewildered second-hand who's been part of the creative madness with Norm for a few short months now. You'll usually find me glued to a screen, trying to make sense of things like "how Norm edited or shot that thing" , learning the basics of thumbnail creation, and working my way through the backlog of over 500 Tokyo Lens videos! Plus, occasionally making a truly decent cup of tea - surprisingly hard to find good tea bags here, mind you. So... If you hadn't already guessed by my ramblings on tea, I am British... that said, I'm actually BIG baseball fan! and... I can't stand football (I'm talking soccer here... just clarifying lol)...so does this make me some kind of traitor to my country? Haha!

Before moving here permanently, I spent a cracking year studying in Kyoto - absolutely fell in love with the culture and decided Japan was the country for me (the traitorous behaviour continues it seems... not building the greatest image for myself here...)! I studied tea ceremony and Japanese calligraphy (can't say i'm very good at either), but I got to see a lot of Japan during this time! Like Norm, I'm also a keen explorer, so be sure to expect even more Tokyo Lens adventures in the future! - I'll probably be there too, helping Norm to hold the camera steady and cut the clips of his swearing outbursts (the man loves a good swear lol)!

Anyway, you'll probably see me popping up here on Patreon from time to time, sharing some behind-the-scenes shenanigans, and maybe even a few slightly embarrassing stories from life working here as one of the Tokyo Lens team! I'm looking forward to chatting with you all and, you know I'll be seeing you again...Real soon......(you bet I just nicked Norm's line right there, couldn't resist!... and now, I need to make a swift exit because he is looking at me with vengeful eyes...runs away)
