Road Trip Update 00 // The Pre-Launch Planning

Hey everyone!!

We are officially less than 1 week away from the road trip!

6 days and counting

And with the road trip less than a week away, I thought I would share a few updates here and hopefully along the way!

Let's call this update #00 and talk about some potential adjustments to the plan!

So a few things to note: 

- The weather does not look good. Potentially rain and thunder the whole week (lol)
- We wont be able to upload 4k vids on the road, so each day I'll aim to do 1 livestream
- Ill try to give a heads up the day before on where our next location is so that people can pop in with questions and ideas, or just join the excitement!

So change #1 - Shaving....

While I will be heading to Ishikawa

it looks like I may cut out the Noto Peninsula altogether and head directly for Kanazawa

Since we are going for 95% unedited long-form vids, and/or streams, this area works out quite a bit better. Noto would lead to long walks with almost unchanging scenery in most spots and could make actual livestreaming challenging as the cell coverage is not strong.

while there is a spot or two in Noto that I could potentially stream, I don't quite trust the signal in the areas that they are in, and it would add 5+ hours round trip for a pretty high-risk spot

so we may start with the backstreets of the beautiful area of Kanazawa, and take it from there!

Especially considering the potentially bad weather, I want to focus on areas that will still look nice in the rain even on a livestream~

This being said

Kanazawa (and or its super-immediate surroundings) will be home to hopefully 2 pieces of content

a) a livestream direct from the area

b) a 4k walking exploration video (that will be uploaded later)

I just bought a new Lav Mic in the case that we get hit with really strong rain and I need to compete with the sound of the rain hitting an umbrella lol. Honestly not super happy to have to add an extra gadget to the mix (simple is always best, and just one more thing to carry) but its better to be safe than sorry~!
