Tokyo Lens is Going WEST!! But the "Where" is up to YOU!

lol I was laughing during the process of writing out that title haha. Something about it just felt so cheesy, but I am very excited to say that we are on to STAGE2 of this as we are now going to create a potential list of places to travel to!!
(if you are not caught up with this adventure, start here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/52252917)

But let's start with a recap of the rules!

What Are The Rules?

For this particular adventure, time will be tight!
Between driving, planning, shooting, editing, rendering (on an old laptop), uploading (on wifi),  and the release (want to shoot in 4K and do it premiere style like we've been doing!)
... That basically fills an entire day! Toss in shooting for the Tokyo Lens video, Livestreams on the Secret Instagram, food, and sleep... and boom! it's the next day! lol

So in order to keep things smooth and safe, I'll be setting 3 main rules for how we pick our spots for this trip!

1. We won't be visiting friends (not enough time in the day! lol)

2. We will be avoiding indoor spaces/events/etc (obvious reasons + lighting lol)

3. We will be avoiding public food spaces (restaurants, markets, etc...) but will do my best to share

---------------------------------------------------------------------

So Where Do You Want To Go?

We can probably get as far as Okayama/Tokushima/Kochi area

I am predicting about 5-6 hours of driving a day

But outside of that, we will have a couple hours in each location to make a Tokyo Lens Explore video or stream!

For this round, please list areas/places rather than specific attractions that you would like to see! Once we have a list of locations, we will start looking more deeply at what we can do in each spot!!

UPDATE: Please also avoid being tooooo general! If there is a prefecture you want to see for example, find a specific area in that prefecture that you would like me to showcase!

UPDATE ii: Please limit your responses to recommendations for the trip that we are currently planning!! I will eventually have to go through all of these to make a list, and that will help me a lot! Thank you (^-^)

If you don't know much about this section of Japan, this is your chance to research and learn! There is soooooooooooo much to do and see here, that we may end up having to do entire follow-up trips!

Leave the locations you want to see, in the comments below, and within the next week, we will start nailing down some specific spots!!

See you all again, real soon!

Tokyo Lens is Going WEST!! But the "Where" is up to YOU!

Comments

Final ideas mostly in the north west portion of the possible area: Kinosaki. Seems like a really pretty onsen town that also has several smaller temples/shrines and a rope way. Probably a great place for a walking tour. Fukuchiyama. Old castle town complete with said castle. Supposed to have very nice views of the surrounding area. Choanji seem like a very pretty temple in the woods. Seriously the pictures of Choanji are stunning. Unrelated side note: In searching for interesting locations I've inadvertently started planning another trip of my own and I haven't even finished planning the previous one! There's so much to see in this country!

The Color Twelve

Hi Norm. What about Nagoya, I have read that there are many things to see and I can’t remember what you have mentioned the city.
