(Thoughts) Merch Shop?
Added 2021-05-27 21:34:17 +0000 UTCI'm thinking of opening a merch shop, but I'm not sure when would be the best time and what would be in it. I still don't know if I'll ship it myself, I'll have to see how it works.
However, if I do ship it myself, I'd like to put small notes and maybe doodles so it's more personalized! In contrast to having a company make it and ship it. Hm, well would anyone have any insight on this? I'll do my research when the time comes, right now it feels overwhelming and I don't really see why I should hurry.
I did look into the Patreon Merch Option, but seeing that they take 3% out of total earning each month even when nothing has been sent, on top of their platform fees, is a bit much. They don't explain why there's a 3% fee and why out of the total earning. I feel as if I'd lose more going in so I'll probably just make my own shop in the future.
Anyways, if you have any thoughts or comments, please let me know. I'd love to hear it!
(EDIT: I have thought of printing MDWY in comic/graphic novel format, but the quality differs so much that I'm not sure anyone would want to buy it lmao... and only having the better chapters being printed would feel incomplete!)

2021-05-29 16:55:55 +0000 UTCI have a lot of notebooks, so I stick them there. Laptop, scrapbooks, in my actual books with a This Book Belongs To sticker, etc. Make some into magnets if they're big enough.
