Despite being stuck working from home due to what's going on in the world. I didn't mind how things changed over time with Season 2. Things change and evolve over time, and your Youtube channel reflects that. I totally understand struggling to focus on a project. I'll probably come up with a question or two once I'm caught up on the Patreon podcast. :) I love hearing the Shamisen, but I have a love of music from around the world. Though I don't really play an instrument myself (haven't touched my clarinet in about 20 years), I very much enjoy musicians sharing their work, but I agree with you that it's a niche thing because it's definitely a unique sounding instrument and it's definitely not something for everyone. Ironically, I'd purchased one of the Yoshida brothers CDs years before I ever started watching your content, and I've very much enjoyed it. Always love hearing what's going on with you even if i'm oh, say about 10 months late :P
