I hope you've had a good year. With the world going mad out there, that's not even an empty phrase. Hopefully the next one gets better!
As for my let's-call-it-artistic misadventures, this year has been one of extremes. From dipping down to low numbers of supporters which must have had to do with drop in activity in the first half of the year to new record after beginning Lictor's Tale. Lesson is quite clear! So expect episode 2 to kick off soon.
I've also for the first time collaborated with another artist, GWProject, combining one's lineart and another's colors in both ways. This had a significant impact on my views on how things should be done and was a great learning experience. It inaugurated the Battle Sister comic which will be the first shaded one I've done (because I'm not the one doing the coloring obviously lol). It also features more traditional and regular panels. So far I like how that is turning out and will in all likelyhood make the next Lictor's Tale episode with that kind of paneling.
Another landmark was that I finally named the redhead. I got to admit though, calling her Cassandra still feels awkward. Always thought OCs are a bit cringe. But now I got one myself. Go figure! I've thought of kicking off a fantasy comic for a while now, so given inspiration and enough time Cassandra might get her own series. How exactly that would work I'm not sure, but making use of party composition from the recent spider image is looking like the best choice atm.
The one concrete plan I got for the next year is continuing the sci-fi comic. We'll follow the Lictor on his adventures accompanying big girls into all kinds of action featuring sex and violence. I hope you'll enjoy it!
