Lictor's Tale, Episode 1 (beginning)

EDIT: Added proper Episode 1 title page A new story of Contact Lost universe kicks off! Protagonist is a Lictor, servant of the Empire, participating in its military as specialized aide to high ranking Amazons. While technically owned by the state and therefore slaves bound to duty, the peculiar nature of their service gives them a certain degree of authority within the military hierarchy as well as comfortable standard of living (outside of participating in combat against murderous alien creatures and various other hostile powers) and certain other perks. We will follow one of them through a series of not too rigidly connected episodes. (Lazily reused an existing image for cover, this is likely to change as things develop. I might also give names to episodes later on together with separate covers, need to see how it all works out.)
