On one hand I think Monica’s idea was so good, that each of them gets to be maid of honour once (presuming they all get married), and I thought it was so sweet when Phoebe said one of the reasons she wanted to be Monica’s is that she is marrying one of their best friends. I hate to admit it though, but part of me kinda does wish Rachel and Monica would be each other’s maid of honour. Just because they’ve been friends since childhood, roommates for half a decade, and do seem to have the closest relationship. But then thinking like that makes me feel bad for Phoebe, so in the end I guess I’m happiest with the show’s solution.
