2022-04-25 03:36:09 +0000 UTCI'm glad you enjoyed this one. xD This is honestly my favorite Peter Pan film because it's the closest one to the original, the novel by J.M. Barrie. Also, fun fact, Mr. Darling and Captain Hook were both played by Jason Isaacs, who also played Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter.

BTW the "kiss" element is some archaic way of saying Wendy is a woman now so she must act like a "proper lady" fit for suitors (not very diff from nowdays how the minute a girl goes through puberty she is immediately sought after). The kiss ended up going to Peter Pan tho, who will never grow up, so in a way, her kiss wasn't tainted by archaic grown up ideals The kiss/thimble thing was an inside joke that started as a misunderstanding between Wendy and Pan...which full circled into the kiss that saved Pan

Definitely looking forward to you watching that one next! (And if you like the original Tinkerbell, be reassured that in 'Hook' she has a much more significant part to play)
