2022-04-26 04:36:53 +0000 UTCIt was annoying how in the original that everyone seemed to be mad at her and a lot of them wouldn't help her. Which is bad of them because she's a little girl stuck in a world bigger than anything she had ever known

2022-04-25 16:54:17 +0000 UTCWell with why there was no color is because it was in a state of despair but I can't remember how pastel colored it was beore The Red Queen

2022-04-25 16:50:49 +0000 UTCWell it didn’t end up with those extra votes until after the 24th. So thankfully it didn’t win.

2022-04-25 14:06:52 +0000 UTCI hate the “film” for several reasons. 1. The stupid chosen one prophecy, 2. The lack of color in Wonderland. It is supposed to be this bright colorful place to counterbalance with the dull ordinary world, yet here it looks to all be the same, 3. Adding logic. Wonderland is a place where you can never fully tell if someone is a friend or foe. One thing you can assure of is it is fully of Mad people, but pfffh “why would you want that?” We have to have talks of military strategies, Alice preparing for battle. IT DOESN’T WORK! 4. Alice herself. Now I understand Alice is supposed to be a stand-in for the audience. The normal one working off all of the strange and weirdness in Wonderland, but she still has a personality. Take for example the 51 film. She could be happy, she could be angry, have enough sillyness, but there was a character there. Here there’s absolutely nothing. A wooden board would have more emotional variety and depth than her in this “film”.

2022-04-25 13:30:10 +0000 UTCA Star Is Born (2018) is the FOURTH time this movie has been made, TWICE in my lifetime. I've seen all 4 and IMHO the ABSOLUTE best of all 4 is the 1954 version with Judy Garland and James Mason, even though I've heard "critics" claim it's Judy Garland's "worst" movie performance. The 1976 Barbra Streisand/Kris Kristopherson version was my introduction to this story. I don't know if it's true but I've always heard Streisand ACTUALLY wanted Elvis Presley to be her co-star, but Elvis's Manager, Col Tom Parker, flat out refused to let Elvis do this movie because of the character's ending. I've always believed that if Elvis had been allowed to play John Norman opposite Streisand's Esther Hoffman he would have won an Academy Award for basically just being himself.

2022-04-24 21:14:23 +0000 UTCI'm surprised Air Bud is winning so much. I figured people forgot it existed. I watched snipits of the second one but I liked the Beethoven series more

2022-04-21 04:13:04 +0000 UTCAlice in Wonderland '10 literally reads like Linda Woolverton wrote it by scrambling around a Lewis Carroll Refrigerator Magnet set: "And so the [Queen of Hearts] sat on her [pig][footstool] and accused the [Frog footman] of [stealing the tarts]..."

2022-04-21 03:37:56 +0000 UTCThe Mask of Zorro is...okay, but it's no patch on Disney's "The Sign of Zorro" feature compilation of the 50's TV series on Disney+.

2022-04-21 03:35:59 +0000 UTCThe Mask of Zorro and Cinderella from 2015. I especially love The Mask of Zorro! :) Heidi
