Dinosaur please would be a good watch. One of my childhood movies growing up. Also I would love to see your reaction to Mr. Peabody and Sherman. That was such lovely movie and I think it would be a delight to watch.

(Which is why "A person is a person no matter how small", and why the kangaroo thinks Horton is a "Dangerous subversive" for hearing people "everyone knows" aren't there.) And that the little average kid in the corner who said "yop!" to finally be heard by the outside world didn't shout it into the wind like Harry Potter doing the Expecto Patronum?...Insert Ukraine metaphor here.

(I'm not putting the "Dr. Seuss's" on the title, since it so thoroughly, embarrassingly and obnoxiously misunderstood every reason why Seuss wrote it.)

2022-04-13 22:19:33 +0000 UTCI never saw Return of Jafar, but I love King of Thieves. I honestly haven't been able to sit through Return of Jafar myself but I am sure some people enjoy it. I HIGHLY recommend King of Thieves, the animation quality isn't that bad and the music slaps. Also Robin Williams is SO GOOD in it, they just let him go wild in King of Thieves. Hope you enjoy it!

2022-04-13 20:04:28 +0000 UTCWell, you don't NEED to, just be aware that "Return of Jafar" (in addition to tying up the obvious unresolved plot thread) was the pilot episode for the 90's "Aladdin" Disney Afternoon TV cartoon, and "King of Thieves" is the big finale--It's also the finale to the movie canon, which makes it interesting, but be prepared for TV-budget animation.

2022-04-13 19:32:27 +0000 UTCAbout half the votes for Watership Down are from 70's sentimentalists and bomb-throwing "Animation isn't for kids!" zealots, and the other half are trolling you--It's good-looking, and a faithful adaptation of the classic book, but...be warned, naturalistic bunnies in the wild aren't cute, and sometimes fight each other with tooth and claw.

And you won't understand some things in this movie without watching The Return of Jafar first. But yes... my vote is for these Aladdin sequels. :)
