2025-02-14 01:54:06 +0000 UTCAs a Star Wars fan who grew up "a long time ago" in a "galaxy" where Star Wars and Lucas Film Ltd and Industrial Light and Magic didn't exist, I can completely understand why someone your age who grew up not that long ago in a galaxy where those things have ALWAYS existed might have gotten "bored" and fallen asleep watching the 1st Star Wars, even the version that you're reacting to here that is the result of a HUGE technological revolution in motion picture making and motion picture special effects that will have been going on for 35 years next month. There are probably very few motion pictures that have been released since May 25th 1977 that haven't somehow or another benefited from the motion picture technological revolution George Lucas began.

2022-04-17 18:44:54 +0000 UTCI haven’t really seen the first movie like this EVER for years until I saw your reaction here and I’d like for you to watch more of the Star Wars movies (including the prequels) 👍. Ooh I wish you’d watch Star Wars Rogue One (made in 2016) soon because it’s like nearly a direct prequel to this movie with how Leia got the plans of the Death Star in the first place (may or may not be canon tho). Otherwise it’s a pretty dang fun franchise 👍

This one is really just to set up the world and characters. Also dont worry, the space battles arent nearly as drawn out in the other ones either. In fact a few dont have any.

I could tell from the first 20 minutes where you barely spoke and as a huge fan of this series I loved that. Love when you give a lot of comments on a movie but sometimes it’s good to try and absorb all of the information being thrown at you which this one it seemed you did pretty well! Reminded me of your Lord Of The Rings reaction kind of, but anyways loved the reaction can’t wait for you to watch the others.
