Been a little difficult to record with my family, but should have some movies out this week and then a lot more next week!

even though it won't win this time, I really hope you react to Big Fish at some point. it's such an amazing movie that never gets enough love. I'm voting for it regardless because it's the only movie on the list that I'm even a little bit excited about, tbh.

2022-03-08 23:47:25 +0000 UTCI'm guessing the theme here is "Bad/Unnecessary Remakes": Peter Pan '03 is a mess of Hollywood 00's-screenwriter meddling, Little Women '19 is overbearingly woke-feminist compared to the perfect 90's version, 101 Dalmatians '96 is the comeback of John Hughes (the moronic-slapstick "Home Alone" one) long after he'd stopped caring, and there was even LESS reason to remake the perfect Murder on the Orient Express '74 than there was to remake West Side Story '61.
