This was a really fun reaction.
Really surprised that you were completly unfamiliar with Winnie the Pooh in general.
I would honestly recommend you read A.A. Milne's "Winnie the Pooh" books, there's two of them.

Rewatching this has honestly solidified the rumor that each character represents a mental health issue. For example, Tigger is believed to have ADHD and Pooh seems to have an addiction to honey. It's kind of hard not to see it.

It hurt me so much I actually cried when he said he didn’t like the character Winnie the Pooh. How can anyone hate that lovable little guy? He’s so enduring and sweet and while he makes mistakes he does get in trouble when he does. Which makes him so much more interesting and a well developed character than someone like Mickey Mouse. I’ve always loved the film and character and it is one of those films where I can’t even finish it because if I do I am going to bawl my eyes out. So whenever I watch it I have to stop it before the last chapter section of the film.

Pooh isn’t quite like that in the newer stuff he’s in.

I'm so happy you finally watched this classic. I've loved Pooh Bear and the rest of the gang since I was little. This is one of those movies that I always turn on after a hard day as I loved how laid back this is compared to some other Disney movies and its just comforting to me. Just for clarification Piglet is a boy (it use to confuse me so much lol) and when Eeyore does lose his tail it doesn't hurt him at all when they put it back on since he is a stuffed animal (they all are stuffed animals except for Rabbit and Owl). There is a direct sequel to this movie called Winnie the Pooh (2011) and a live action story called Christopher Robin (2018). There are also spin off movies where different characters get their own movie like Tigger gets a movie and so does Piglet.
