This was kind of an unusual chapter, because most braincell scenes are supposed to be short moments. But I just kept getting more and more ideas about the scene! Part of me is thinking that this should be labeled as an "extra" chapter because it is all braincells. (In my mind, braincells are mini scenes-- comparable to minigames in a big game.) Braincells were never a plan for the main story, the idea just sort of came randomly as a comedic and creative way to show Sekai's feelings. That's why I feel like it gives "side chapter" vibes-- but at the same time, this chapter is really important to the storyline because it explains the way that Sekai thinks. I feel like it is necessary for readers to see his current thoughts on relationships, and the hurdles created by his past that he is still overcoming-- which is his ruined view on relationships.
I think the braincell scenes work great for comedy, but when it comes to serious topics I'm still unsure exactly how I feel about it. I just know that whenever I get a good scene idea, I just have to share it with you all in the way I visualize it. I dunno. What do you think about the braincells?
