September Update + Monthly Scan

Hey, Patrons!

So, I've got a good amount of things to talk about in this post. I hope you'll read all of it.

This past month, we started getting into more video territory through Domesday captures of anime LaserDiscs. Maybe you've seen some of them on our YouTube channel? We feel we can still improve and refine the quality of our output and encoding, so if at first these didn't meet your expectations, we apologize and hope to do better. This is new territory for us and lots of people, and there's always room for improvement after all.

Secondly, I have admittedly been having trouble in my personal life that has made me take a break from running the Twitter and YouTube accounts, a bit. Nowadays another member of our team is monitoring and posting on the official accounts starting with the Cipher stuff, and will likely continue this way for the time being. I do still, however, do most of the correspondence via DMs. I am not really able to give my all out effort like I did before, due to extenuating circumstances in my life that have demotivated and made me reevaluate where I'm headed and what I should do next. We don't intend to stop Kineko, we're just getting started, but I currently just don't have the energy to devote to it as much as I'd like. As a result things have been slower than I'd like, but I want to try keeping up and start slowly catching up, but it may take a while. There are lots of things I need to figure out in my life, so hopefully we can continue to entertain and show you some cool things in the meantime, even if it won't be as consistent or massive for the time being.

Speaking of which, we've got some interesting things coming up. Coming later today will be a new YouTube upload that will coincide with the monthly scan for Purr-servationists. It's a 35mm theatrical trailer for "Adieu Galaxy Express 999", which was cleaned up and color corrected for YouTube, and $15 Patrons only will receive the raw, lossless scan this month. Some images have been attached of the raw so you guys can see how it looks. It will be sent out to $15 Patron emails later, and if you want it, you can upgrade to Purr-servationist all this month to receive it.

Again, we appreciate all of you who have stuck with us for so long already. I personally want to express my gratitude even through this tough time in my personal life and through us figuring things out when it comes to SD content too. Truly, I appreciate all the support.
