1986 Weekly Shonen Jump Promo / 1986年 週刊少年ジャンプ CM [35mm 4K Scan]
This is a 35mm promotional ad for Shounen Jump magazine that was originally made as a television commercial (https://youtu.be/oruY6grlY0E?t=95), but was also likely screened in theatres before some theatrically released films. It advertises a variety of manga such as Dragon Ball, Fist of the North Star, Kinnikuman, Captain Tsubasa, and features many more cameos of manga serialized at the time. There are also some video graphics that were kinescoped at the beginning and end. This print was attached/spliced in with another 35mm print we had. The print was scanned in 4K, and there was no processing, correction, or restoration done to the print whatsoever, so what you see is the print's natural state, after encoding and cropping for YouTube. The audio is sourced from the print itself.
