Thank You for a Wonderful 2021

A lot has happened this year. In the world, certainly, but especially in the realm of anime restoration and specifically for us, we've found so many cool things that we never thought imaginable.

Initially we were sceptical opening up a public Discord and Patreon due to the fact that we operate very much in secrecy and only announce what we have when we're absolutely ready to, but the move to go a little more open to our fans and the public sphere hasn't been too bad so far, and we've already found some people from the community willing to help us on this mission we've got.

Film scanning, even for us, is not cheap. Everything we've ever done up to this point has been paid for out of our own pockets and with more and more being found all the time it is truly starting to get daunting for us. We have so much we'd like to get scanned but it requires even more of our own money and because of that, your guys' contributions, small or large, are incredibly helpful and I am honestly very surprised by how well the Patreon started doing not even a month into its existence; I truly hope you all stick around for what's coming because you're not gonna believe some of the amazing things we've got in store. Truly, thank you so much for all your support and help, we all sincerely appreciate it and we couldn't keep doing this without you.

Speaking of which, if you've read this far, congrats! Now you get to hear about our plans for New Years Day! We're gonna be uploading onto our YouTube channel a very rare, very special 35mm variety "show" that was screened in Japanese cinemas only in 1980 and never seen again. It's called "'80 Animation The Best Ten", a parody of the popular music series "The Best Ten", counting down the top ten anime of that year. It's got tons of great live action footage, anime clips, music performances, and even commercials! And... part of what was once considered lost media. You guys are the first to get to see some raw screenshots from this, and it'll go live on our YouTube tomorrow! Unfortunately we didn't have time to get it subbed, but we did color correct it and restore it a tad. Look forward to it, and thank you so much again! Appreciate you all!
