My dad (and now brother because he's old enough) hunt elk and deer, and occasionally antelope. They put in for fun tags like bighorn sheep, bear, and mountain lion as well but have never won any tags for them, and there's been a lot more limited tags on the antelope in the last few years. Unfortunately, I can't stand venison, elk, or antelope and hate the smell too. Most of the women in my family feel the same way. It's really gamey and I've only had venison once that wasn't chewy, and you have to take a lot of time to cook it properly (personally I think it needs a lot more seasoning than beef, chicken, or pork). Decent jerky though. There are deer farms and the like but they're not on the same level as cattle farms (probably because they're more annoying to care for and there's a lot less of a market for the meat). They're a lot harder to hunt too (especially if you're stuck with just a spear or bow 30000 years ago). Antelope like plains but deer and elk stick to forested and covered area. You'll have a lot more luck with large animals like bovines (some antelope like pronghorn fall under that classification as well but only the ones here in North America, very different from the ones you might have seen on the other side of the world) but they're really hard to take down on your own unless you have crazy aim. You'd have a lot better luck with small game like birds, fish, and other small mammals using traps unless you made some friends to hunt with.

The way it works in The Walking Dead is that everyone is already technically infected, but it won't take effect until death, and the only way to stop it is to destroy the brain of the undead.

I listen to all of these videos while playing Stardew Valley. Yall should play it!!

"You did leave your family behind." Yeah Ted, you traitorous bastard.

Gabe

Ted tell me how to grow a mustache like that

Pip

I'd imagine that if the Zombies are ones that classically reawake after death, they'd be operating on a lower brain capacity, so things like running I'd imagine to be a more complex motor skill (especially bipedally) than shambling - Ted

no Atlantis! sad sad haha

Petrina DelFuego

ok

JazzyGinger

Yes, they would eventually slow down after a few months.

Jerome

yeah i agree with this, but they'd eventually slow down over time. they're still rotting corpses so they'd rot to the point muscles and tissue aren't there anymore kinda like in later seasons of walking dead iirc

IrisMorel

Running zombies area actually more realistic than the slow walkers. If the zombies are infected with a virus that makes them want to chase and harm people, they would have an adrenaline rush when they see anybody alive, so they would absolutely be running and jumping.

Jerome

im coming back from the main episode to tell ted he's very tim robinson
