I don't think ACC is "monotone"at all. He's just deadpan with a dry tumor. That's different from monotone, which implies boring and emotionless.

My husband remarked that he has no clue how you were able to say mcnut so many times without laughing.

Right! Of course robbery is a serious crime, but if I think back to my life ages 18-22, I can't think of a single person who couldn't probably have been caught on a third strike. Even just a few years can make such a huge difference in your attitude and character, I can't imagine dooming the rest of someone's life for a few dumb mistakes when you're barely out of high school. Meanwhile, convicted murders sometimes even get out on parole.

I live in Texas and have been to Collin Street Bakery many many times. I never knew any of this!!!

3 strikes has to be the dumbest thing we've produced. Not to make excuses for poor decisions but so dumb

My favorite was you keeping in the audio “we also have a Home Depot”

Props to ACC for not making a single joke about how terrible fruit cake is. That's a low-hanging fruit(cake).

Jonas

That transition between stories felt like when you reach the top of a roller-coaster and all hell is about to break loose 🔥

same here, also working in accounting. Although I'm honestly baffled by the indifference some business owners have towards their finances, which is how this can happen. They swan in and out, assume it's someone else's job to do all that, some little person whose salary they probably don't even think about and half the time, it's some complete accident it gets found out, usually by some small nobody person in the company who is just doing their job properly (look at the Rita Crundwell one.) Also, honestly, we all need to be a little more suspicious of someone who just inherited a ton of money from a family member that you've never heard them ever talk about and they didn't seem to be sad about, or go to any funerals?

Ditched the podcast I was listening to mid-episode to listen to your new drop! No other podcast compares 💯

I was seriously just thinking about how I needed a "monotone dude" fix and up popped this notification. Good timing. Perfect score, gold star.

As an accountant myself, this is the kinda stuff that boils my blood because people place so much trust in us and then people like this come along and ruin it for everyone.

Just when I was missing you, you pop up🤗🤗🤗
