Do you use a voice changer or is that your real voice?

What originally gave you the onus to produce such thorough reports in an era of shock only journalism? How were you able to spend so much time (thankfully) researching and reporting gross negligence?

Combo episode: crypto queen, theranos, wework

If you scroll down far enough through the Patreon posts, you will see her. I posted a photo a long time ago. :)

Tell us all about the artwork please. ❤️

Dark web. Cryptocurrency. Blockchain. I just finished the CBC Podcast Hunting Warhead and it brought up a lot of questions, but not only about horrific child sex crimes. I wondered about the ultimate legitimacy of something like cryptocurrency given (in my understanding) it’s intended use. Did it begin as an innocent way to exchange products for currency anonymously on the dark web, like the Wild West in 1, and 0’s, by whom, and for what... or Is it that it’s always been somewhat nefarious in nature? I know a lot of the characters surrounding crypto are very Silicon Valley startup fail meets basement dwellers with “mining closets” and a penchant for Doritos but truly understanding the dynamic feels just outside my reach. Help?

If you could have any guest; a dream guest as a part of a topic, who would it be/what topic

Assuming you've attended/graduated from a higher education institute. If so, what was your major/is your degree in? Are you a native Texan?

Jerry Salisbury

Hey not a question just a request, would you be able to mix the audio more evenly? Specifically the voice clips used, I find that your voice booms in my car but then I have the volume maxed to struggle to hear the clips. Thanks for the awesome material!

Aidan Munro

Please do a show on the Flint Michigan water crisis. Nobody has looked at who stood to gain from the city building a pipeline to lake Huron, which started the whole thing, all the while under state control.

One more thing, would the Lucasville 5 qualify as a form of governmental swindle? They've been locked up for 27 years for something that cannot be proven. Idk maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree, but when the government has endless resources to impede justice, it seems like a con job to me.

Samantha McDermott

Yes, I have a question. Why is this podcast so damn addicting & good?? I am always waiting for the next new release, like a fiend. Keep up the great work, ACC. 🙌🏽

If you could earn an extra $500/ month working from your phone would you? #bossbabe

Episode suggestions: Robert Hendy Freegard, that is a crazy story. It would be good to hear more non-American stories. Question: If you could have committed any scam, which would it have been and how would you have made sure you got away with it?

DiscoPig

What would be the greatest achievement that could possibly come from your work? Solving a financial crime? Preventing them from happening?

Alan Bond would make a great episode. 1980s Australian real estate and investment shonk. He even had his own University like some conmen seem to enjoy to do.

Has there ever been a story you wanted to cover but chose not to due to a chance of legal or other trouble? Like something Scientology or mob related for example?

Have you ever been harassed by the Government or a large Corporation for implicating them in a scheme or for getting too close to uncovering something nefarious? If you haven’t already been unmasked by the above culprits, do you ever worry about the possible negative consequences of your investigations?

Carroll Leigh C

Favorite cookie, favorite TV show, any case that you’ll never do and why won’t you do it? Do you have any dogs and have you ever considered doing an episode where a government institution (Dept. of Defense and the exorbitant amount of our taxes they swindle for equipment that is obsolete—D’Amato pushing the planes through) or considered doing something on the Gender Tax.

Annette Owens

What do you think is the most infuriating case you’ve made an episode on?

Have you, yourself, or anyone you know been the victim of a swindle? If so, would you tell us about it?

Any plans for a series of episodes on the same topic?

At least up to his last time doing a Q&A short podcast he said no one has ever come after him because he’s not an investigative reporter he’s just reporting on things that are already published.

Hi Concerned Citizen, I sent u a drunk email that as soon as I finished school and had some disposable income I was gonna join Patreon and here I am. Anyway I asked this a few days ago on the show thread but I was curious in season one u had a show about a treasurer that u said was framed as an embezzler that was innocent and he ended up shooting himself in public before going to prison. I was curious why u were so sure he was innocent, because from listening to the show I didn’t think I heard any evidence from u that made u feel that way. What’s the story bud?

Mellow

Any possibility of an episode on fake wine sellers/sommelier? Watched "Sour Grapes" documentary on Rudy Kurinawan, the other day, it was Awesome.

Is there a subject you won't do? If so, what is/was it?

It’s a big ask ACC... would you consider a report on whichever candidates that make the primary. Is there anything WE should know? Ya know. Thank you for all the responsible reporting, the fantastic storytelling and writing. Not to mention, the perfect drop of snark throughout. I Appreciate your art and hard work.

EeeBitch

Have you heard about or considered doing the Jessica Cornell Smith case? A woman from the Philadelphia region faked cancer to raise money for herself and a podcast proved she was faking that along with a LOT of other things. She even tried to rope my favorite morning show and their biggest charity event of the year into her scams.
