SCHMUTZIGE GESCHAFTE IS #1 IN DEUTSCHLAND!

The German version of Swindled launched earlier this month and shot straight to the top of the German charts. This is definitely the most surreal thing that has happened to the podcast so far. Very excited to see what happens. for more information, visit schmutzige-geschaefte.de.

In late October, Swindled was listed as an “under-the-radar podcast for true crime lovers” by Insider/Business Insider. 

Also, Swindled has its very own Wikipedia article now! 

FREE STUFF!

By now, most of you should have received your art prints in the mail except for a few stragglers (yours are coming soon). I hope the art prints arrived in better shape than the posters. Please let me know if you prefer the print size or the poster size. I have more planned in the near future.

The temporary tattoos will be shipped during the first week of December to those of you who opted in AND we’re having a contest involving the tattoos to win a free hoodie. You can find details here.

Also, I want to ask if you all are happy with the new method of opting-in for the free merch giveaways? Many of you have expressed that you’re happy just contributing without receiving anything in return, and I think giving people the opportunity to opt-in for the freebies helps avoid sending people stuff they don’t want. It also helps me keep track of who has received what. Personally, I like it, but I’m open to any feedback you may have.

CHARITY

Five-percent of this month’s Patreon proceeds will be donated to Child Find of America. Child Find of America, Inc. is a national non-profit organization that provides outstanding professional services designed to prevent and resolve child abduction and the family conflicts that can lead to abduction and abuse. They have an A+ rating from CharityWatch.org.

COMING SOON

The next episode is called The Psychic. It covers the abhorrent effects of psychic Sylvia Browne’s lousy predictions. The intro focuses on the Psychic Readers Network and its spokesperson, Miss Cleo. It is scheduled for release for Sunday, December 2nd. I will try to get it to you patrons a few days earlier (if possible). 

There will also be a bonus episode involving a psychic that will be released next week. I originally intended for it to be the intro of The Psychic but I thought Miss Cleo was a better fit.
