5e → A5e Conversion Tools Demo
Added 2023-09-25 11:13:20 +0000 UTCWe've been getting a number of people asking what the new conversion tools are for, and I think it's about time we show off a quick demo.
The basic idea behind the conversion tools is to allow you to take content designed for the dnd5e Foundry system—whether that be content from modules or things you've made yourself—and safely import that content into a world using the a5e system.
I've prepared a short video above showing the process for importing the monsters and NPCs from Kobold Press' Book of Ebon Tides. You can go through the same process for class features, spells, objects, player characters, and so on.
Preparing your content for conversion is pretty simple, and the tools include a built-in instructions page explaining a number of different options for preparing your content to suit your particular needs.
