DevLog #14 - Getting Inspired!🌞

Hey everyone!

I've been totally hooked on the show "Arcane" lately, and it's really changed how I see "The Last Star Walker" TLSW's future. The way they mix sci-fi and fantasy is exactly what I've been going for - you know, that sweet spot where tech meets magic. And get this - some of the themes in Arcane are super similar to what's cooking up for TLSW… but no spoilers yet! 😉

Real talk though - watching Arcane has been a bit of a double-edged sword. On one hand, it's AMAZING. On the other hand, it's made me realize there's so much more to be done with TLSW. I've been taking notes on all the things that make it hit so hard - the way scenes flow together, the conversations that feel real, and how the characters grow throughout the story.

Fun fact: I actually went through something similar halfway through making Chapter 1, where I had this "oh crap, not good enough" moment. But you know what? Taking that extra time to improve things then totally paid off.

So here's the deal: Chapter 2 is probably gonna take about 3 months to get right. Then I want to go back and polish up some stuff in Chapter 1 before the public release (so add another month for that). I know waiting sucks, but I really want to make this game as awesome as possible.
