3-4-2025 Open Fortress video

I think im gonna focus on second channel videos for a little bit since i dont have it in me to do any major projects right now, and honestly making this video was a lot of fun and very fulfilling for me. I wanna make more stuff like this.

For animations it depends on the length and the amount of characters, but for 3/4s of my animations it takes me one day to block out, a day to inbetween and spline, and a day for scene, lighting, and sound design. For more complex animations tho it can take several weeks for a single bit. As for how fast i make videos, id say it takes me a week to finish 80% of the video if im in the mood to work on it constantly. Otherwise (and more often) i take twice that time. That 80% is all the basic edits, things like panning, tracking voices to characters, sound effects, subtitling; basically the state that the video above is in. Fully watchable and clearly finished, just nothing insane or particularly weird. To get that last 20% can take me several months doing animations, complex edits, compositing, vfx, stuff like that.
